Plain language, no fine print games. Here is exactly what we collect, why we collect it and how to make it disappear.
The short version
Your name, your email, your phone, your date and your location. Enough to quote your day properly and nothing beyond that.
No advertising networks, no lead brokers, no lists. The only companies that touch it are the tools that make our forms and calendar work.
One email to contact@anngyejuan.com and your information comes out of our systems. No forms to fill, no reason required.
The full policy
Anngye & Juan is the trade name of Saman LLC, a wedding photography and videography company based at 1512 Marion Ave, Lincoln Park, Michigan 48146, serving Michigan and couples across the United States.
This policy covers anngyejuan.com and every form on it: the quote calculator on our inquire page, mini sessions, our team application page, our newsletter and our video call scheduling. If you contact us by phone, text or email instead, the same principles apply.
We only ask for what we need to answer you properly and cover your day. Depending on the form you use, that means:
We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, government ID numbers or full payment card numbers through this website. Payments, when the time comes, are handled on separate invoicing platforms with their own security and their own policies.
Every piece of information above exists for one of four reasons:
We may send you occasional emails about real weddings, planning notes or seasonal offers if you subscribed to our newsletter. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and using it does not affect your booking in any way.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it or hand it to advertising networks. Full stop.
We do use a small set of service providers to actually run the website, and your information passes through them only for the purpose they exist for:
We also share the minimum necessary detail with the photographer or filmmaker assigned to your day, such as timing, venue and your names, so they arrive prepared. The only other case where we would disclose information is if the law required it.
This website uses Microsoft Clarity, a behavior analytics tool. Clarity places cookies in your browser and records how visitors interact with our pages, including clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, heatmaps and anonymized session recordings.
Those recordings are anonymous and aggregated. They exist so we can see, for example, that people abandon the quote calculator on step three, or that a button is invisible on a certain phone. Clarity automatically masks text input by default, and we do not use it to identify you personally.
Microsoft may use the data it collects in accordance with its own privacy statement. You can read how Microsoft handles it at privacy.microsoft.com. If you would rather not be recorded at all, you can block cookies or use your browser private mode, and the website will keep working normally.
Embedded third party tools on our pages, such as the Calendly scheduler, may also set their own cookies when you interact with them.
Inquiries that never turn into a booking are kept while there is still a reasonable chance of working together, and cleaned out afterward. Confirmed bookings are kept for as long as we need them for contracts, tax records and delivery obligations, which in practice means several years.
Team applications are kept while the role is open and for a reasonable period after, in case a similar opening comes up. Analytics data follows the retention period of the tool that collected it.
The website is served over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted encrypted, and access to our inbox, calendar and client files is limited to Juan and Anngye, protected by strong passwords and two step verification.
We will be honest with you: no website, ours included, can promise perfect security. What we can promise is that we collect as little as possible, keep it in as few places as possible and do not pass it around.
You are in control of your information. At any time you can ask us to:
Write to contact@anngyejuan.com from the email address you used, tell us what you want done and we will take care of it, normally within thirty days. There is no fee and no penalty for asking.
One honest limit: if we already photographed or filmed your wedding, we may have to keep contract and tax records even after deleting your contact details, because the law requires it.
Our services are meant for adults planning weddings and sessions. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child sent us something, email us and we will remove it.
Our pages link out to platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Zola, The Knot and our gallery host. Once you leave anngyejuan.com, that platform privacy policy applies, not ours.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Meaningful changes will be reflected here before they take effect, so it is worth a glance if you are about to send us your information.

Who else is involved
Small stack on purpose. Fewer places your data lives, fewer places it can go wrong.
Takes what you type into our inquire, mini session, application and newsletter forms and delivers it to our inbox. It does not use your information for its own marketing.
Books your video call and syncs it to our calendar. It receives your name, email and phone so the invitation actually reaches you.
Sets cookies and records anonymous session activity, heatmaps and clicks so we can see where the site helps and where it gets in the way.
Send one email from the address you used, say the word delete, and we will take your details out of our systems and confirm when it is done. Normally within thirty days, usually much sooner.
The same address works for corrections, questions about this policy or simply asking what we hold.
